I teach Hatha yoga, which is suitable for all levels of fitness from complete beginners to more advanced and classes are adapted accordingly. I am also able to offer one to one lessons and small group classes tailored to your specific needs. These include:
Pregnancy and Post-natal yoga
Rehabilitation following illness or injury
Easing stress and depression
My yoga style is suitable for all ages and abilities. I can offer a very physical practice or a much more gentle, meditative practice. Either way, you will benefit from a very rewarding whole body, mind and spirit workout.
Yoga will help to calm your mind, relax your body and stretch your muscles, improving flexibility and increasing bone density. It is also a very personal practice. You don’t have to ‘be good’ at yoga. It is a connection with you and your body and you work to your own level, whatever that may be on any given day.
I am able to offer a very personal setting as I've created a Yoga studio at home allowing me to focus on smaller groups, and also offer private tuition in a relaxed, friendly environment, with mats, bolsters, blocks, belts and lavender eye pillows all provided. You just need to wear some loose, comfortable clothes and bring socks and a warm top for relaxation.
Remember, it isn’t about achieving the perfect posture - it is as much about the journey…
